Leadership in Environmental Action Forum for Earth Week

April 18, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This forum is geared to environmentally conscious high school students who are keenly interested in issues such as water conservation, marine ecosystems and traditional ecological knowledge. It includes two workshops, admission to all museum galleries—including the blockbuster exhibition—Whales Tohora, and a goal-setting exercise to help youth take the next step on the path to environmental leadership. Clean Energy Workshop

April 18, 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Teachers, learn how to prepare your students for the green energy future. Get lesson plan ideas on green energy issues. Presented by Ecology Ottawa, this day of workshops is suitable for high school science, physics, math and career counselling teachers and curriculum.
